GLORIOUS Spring! FINALLY!!

FINALLY!  It has arrived!  We are finally having some nice spring time weather in MN!  This has been the longest winter I can ever remember!  The kids enjoyed a weekend playing outside with daddy while mom was stuck inside at work!  Booo!!  But luckily the nice weather stuck around for at least one more day and we are having a beautiful Monday for my day off!  We had lunch at the park with Grandma Nancy and now after naps we are headed back there.  Maybe some CherryBerry and steak on the grill for supper!!

Spring Program

Allie had a big week last week!  On Tuesday she had a little program at preschool for families.  Jesse and I went to watch, she was so excited!  She asked me last Thursday (after preschool) as I was tucking her in bed if dad and I were going to come watch her sing at preschool!  Of course!  They did the "Very Hungry Caterpillar" first and then a few songs and a couple "poems".  It was so fun!!  We have loved having Allison at Children's Corner Preschool.  Kara can hardly wait to go!!  Or so it seems!  She LOVES brining Allie to preschool and washing her hands too!  And now if I am not careful she runs into the little "house" in the room to play babies and has a big fit when I drag her out!  Anyway, here's some pics from the program...

Last Dance of 2013

Allison had her last dance recital for Just for Kix 2013.  She thoroughly enjoyed it!!  Part of the reason we picked JFK vs Colleen's was because I knew at JFK we paid month-to-month and if she didn't like it we could always quit.  But she loved it!!  She was done last Sunday, April 21, and normally she has dance on Monday's and she was asking today if she had dance.  She was bummed to hear she didn't.  It is going to be a long "off" season!  But I know summer will be packed with more fun things to do!  Anyway, here are some pics from the last performance.

FRUSTRATION

I finally get on here to blog and I get 1 post done and now it won't let me upload any more pics!!  OMG I am so frustrated!  Well, posts to hopefully come tonight or tomorrow on Allison's last dance recital and her spring program at preschool.  And all this after I spent an unexpected amount of time upgrading to blogger+.  And I am pretty sure I have no idea how to use it!! 

Another year older...

Yup, I am another year older.  Officially a member of the OVER 30 club!  Eeek, that is hard to say!  In typical fashion I had my birthday week.  It included a pedicure with a co-worker and good friend, a free Caribou, free CherryBerry, and a free tan (no lecture required...it has been a LONG winter).  For my birthday all I wanted to do was have some friends over to play "board" games.  That is what we did.  It was GREAT!  We only got to one game, Loaded Question, but it was hilarious fun!  Apples to Apples was next on the agenda, but midnight came too quick and with most of us being in the over 30 club and with children to take care of the next day, we did the responsible thing (much to my dismay) and shut it down.  Here's a few pics from the night...

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend.  Easter at my parent's on Saturday, stayed overnight and went to church with them Sunday morning.  I love going to my home-town church for Easter Sunday and seeing so many familiar faces!!  And then we were off to Mages's for Easter with Jesse's fam.  Where after lunch we went bowling in Olivia!  First time for Miss Kara, who proceded to kick her mom's butt!  ;)
