11 Months!

Our Baby girl is 11 months!! Count down to 1 year starts! She is standing all by herself now and has started walking holding onto your hands! She "cruises" along furniture and is into EVERYTHING! I swear her arms are growing twice as fast as the rest of her and while they may not look that long, I am amazed at what she can reach! She got a scrape on her forhead and nose this weekend, so the bumps and bruises of learning to walk are starting! She had a fun weekend at the lake with my parents! We are so grateful they are willing and able to watch her when I am working!

10 Months!

A week or so ago (when Allison "officially" turned 10 months) I was rocking her and I almost started crying looking at her. I can't believe how big she has gotten!! WHERE have the last 10 months gone??!! I remember when she was about 6 weeks old, crying (as it seems I did quite often then) how I didn't know if I was doing the right things and etc, etc, etc! And thinking I couldn't wait for her to get bigger... I can't believe I did that! They are little for SUCH a short time!! She is so close to walking already, doesn't cuddle very well, unless very tired, and will not lay still for a diaper change! She is so much fun! I love every minute I get to spend with her and feel so blessed to have her. While I still constantly worry I am doing the right things for her, I feel better knowing we have made it this far and she seems to be doing just fine!

She loves to play ball, and claps for herself after every throw. She also LOVES books! Usually she likes to look at them herself and only tolerates being read to for a minute or two, in this picture she was really listening to Daddy read to her!

BOLD Class of '99

Jesse had his 10 year class reunion this year! It was during Corn Capital Days in Olivia. It was a good time and they had a pretty good turn out. Hairball played at Max's in Olivia that night! They are an '80's hair band imitation, they are GREAT! About 1/2 of his class came to the reunion and they had a float in the parade on Sat. Wow...10 years already!

Allie has her first boyfriend...our neighbor boy, Soren! They are SO cute together! Although I think he is a little more into her than she is into him yet. I guess he asks about her on a regular basis and they have to tell him she is napping or he wants to come see her! Today when Allison saw him she got so excited! As always, I am WAY behind on posting. These pics are from about a month ago! But they played in the pool together again today. Allie's cute little horse swimsuit is from Grandma Nancy!!
