Happy Father's Day!

Happy First Father's day to Jesse!! Allison is so lucky to have such a wonderful Dad and me a husband! He is so good with her, and prior to her birth he kept saying he wasn't going to change any poopy diapers...he does! I am not surprised, I knew he was going to be a great dad! We spent Father's Day with Jesse's family at his parent's house. Even though it was rainy (again!) we had fun! And got to play our annual game of bean bag baseball, thanks to Uncle Gary! I think we "let" the guys win, being it was Father's Day and all!

Lunch with Great Grandma Lorrie

Last week Allison and I had a day in Hector! We went to visit Great Grandma Lorrie for lunch and played for a while then we napped at Grandma and Grandpa's and after a snack we went to a garage sale! It was a great day! Next time we will have to visit the Hector Pool! Allison had so much fun at Great Grandma's house!

Follow up

Ok, I'm a little slow, but here are a couple more pictures from Audrey's first b-day party! Who would have thought it would be 45 degrees and rainy at the beginning of June!! Oh, well, we had fun anyway! Even if there was no water in the pool!

The Lilacs are Blooming!

These are from the beginning of June, but i couldn't resist putting them on here. My mom brought Allison out to see the lilacs. She wanted to "taste" them, of course!

Miss Audrey Turns 1

On Sat. afternoon we celebrated our good friend, Audrey's first birthday! It is so hard to believe a year has passed since she was born!! A year ago I was at work on a slow Sat. evening when we got a call from a very excited mother-to-be!! She said her water had broke and she was coming in!! I think I was almost as excited as they were! Anyway, I am very honored to have gotten to be there for the birth of my best friend's baby and it has been so fun watching her grow and change over the last year! Happy Birthday to Miss Audrey! And many more! I will have to post more pictures of the celebration later, I have some cute one's of the three little friends in the swimming pool together, Audrey, Ava and Allison! (Although there was no water in it, just kids and toys!)

So close...

Allison is so close to crawling. She gets up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth and sometimes even goes backwards a little, but she just hasn't quite figured out how to go forward. It won't be long! Yikes!! Then she will be into EVERYTHING! Time to start baby-proofing! If you click on the picture to enlarge it you can see her teeth!

Practicing

We try to use a cup for milk with Allison's meals. It is messy but she is getting better at it. Usually she doesn't try to do it herself, but here are a couple pictures of her trying. (The glass was empty).

8 Months

Allison was 8 months old on Sat. She has had quite the month! She finally got 2 teeth! They are so cute (who ever thought teeth could be so cute). But with the teething came a runny nose and a VERY sore bottom (don't know for sure if they are related, but...). In fact I ended up taking her in to the Dr. for her bottom b/c it wasn't getting better. She also gets up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth, not quite crawling yet. And just this weekend she started waving bye bye! It is kind of a whole arm movement yet! We spent Memorial Weekend at the lake and it was very fun. Allison got to spend one day with her cousin, Emma. They are going to have so much fun growing up together!!
