Memorial Weekend

We went to the lake Memorial weekend. Even though it wasn't the warmest, it was a pretty nice weekend! Even put shorts on on Sunday! Emma came up on Sunday, so Allison got to play with her cousin! They are so cute together! Allison's teeth were just coming in so she has her tongue over them!

Happy Mother's Day!

Well, I spent part of my Mother's Day at work and then slept most of the rest of it away! I worked nights last weekend and Allison spent the weekend with her Grandma's! Who loved every minute of it! I love being a mother more than I can even describe. It is the most difficult thing I have ever done and the most wonderful and rewarding all at once! I question everything I do, I want to make sure I am doing the right thing for my baby. I had the best role model in the world and I hope I am 1/2 as good a mom to Allison as she was/is to Dan and I. I hope Allison feels the way I feel about my mom about me one day! Thank you, Mom! I love Allison so much and she is so much fun. I could listen to her babble and laugh all day long. On Monday night, she was coming down with a cold and I think she was teething and we were up pretty much from 12:30 to 3! I was exhausted but she was so cute! I was trying to get her to go back to sleep and she just looks at me and starts patting my face and touching my nose! It was everything I could do not to laugh! Anyway, Happy Belated Mother's Day to all the mother's out there!

Happy Birthday Jesse!

Happy Birthday to Jesse! It was a gorgeous day for Jesse's b-day (May 3) so he went fishing in his b-day present to himself (fishing boat) with a fishing pole from Allison and I and other accessories from his parent's and mine. Allison and I and Nancy did the MS walk. It was so nice! We walked 2 miles with Allison. Had a nice lunch and then she napped! Thanks again to those who donated!

7 Months

Miss Allison was 7 months on April 30! She is getting so big! She gets up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth, but she is not crawling yet. We have been trying to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible! I put her in the grass a couple weeks ago for the first time, she wasn't sure what to think. Kept trying to pull the grass out and if she would have gotten any I'm sure she would have eaten it! The neighbor's have a baby swing they don't use anymore that they said we could use anytime! Allison seems to like it!

Ooops!

Ok, I started this with the best of intentions...and have fallen behind! So here are a few pictures and things from the last month! And an update on what is going on right now...Allison is battling another cold! I'm hoping it is the last one with summer coming!! But again she is a trooper! She has continued to sleep good except on Monday night when mom and dad only got 4-5 hours of sleep and then had to work a 12 hour shift...NOT FUN! But she seems to be doing better. I am home with her today, Yeah! I have missed her so much this week, working all week! Still hoping to win the lotto and be able to stay home with her! Even though I am behind, I hope everyone enjoys the site and the pictures!!
