T-Ball Fun

Allie was also in T-ball this summer.  I think she enjoyed it...but she was definitely the one picking grass in the infield (no one is in the outfield in t-ball!  :)  She was a suprisingly good batter, but even at the last game of the season had a liiitttlllee trouble with base running!  "Go to FIRST BASE (everyone pointing at 1st base) Allison!"  "Run to SECOND (or third, or home and with lots of pointing again) Allison!"  On picture day, her favorite part was taking pictures.  Yea, so far this one is ALL GIRL!  We'll see what she picks for next summer!

Campfires and fishing...Life at the lake

Had to include this one, because this is the funny face Kara makes.  Her timing when she does it is perfect, you are trying to be serious with her and she does THIS to you.  It is almost impossible not to laugh.  Oh this girl!!

4th of July

Once again, as is our tradition now, we went to the Dave and Bonnie Triplett cabin on Lake Henderson by Willmar for the 4th.  It was a warm and wonderful day spent on the lake with good friends!!  That evening after supper, we headed to Osakis to spend the weekend at the lake with my parents.  Kids got to stay up late and take in some fireworks.

Go TWINS!

Thanks to Brad and Jodi for inviting us to a Twins game this summer!!  Brad got some great tickets to a Twins Game from a vendor and we got to tag along.  Our seats were awesome!!  It was so much fun, even though we got rained on off and on!  And the Twins lost.  :(

Gymnastics...Fantastic!

Allison got to be in summer rec activities this summer.  She was in gymnastics in June and loved it.  Not sure yet if we have a future gymnast on our hands, but I think she will try it again!

Trip to the Zoo

The last week in June we got a good deal on a trip to the zoo from a good friend, does it get any better??  ;)  The girls and I went to the MN zoo with Jamie and her daughter, Rachel (just a few months younger than Kara).  It was so fun (and busy with 3 busy little girls!!).

Father's Day 2013

For Father's day we went to Jesse's parents house.  Spent the morning having brunch and a late lunch before heading home.  Jesse's grandpa, Delano (Nancy's dad) was able to join us.  We (especially Jesse) cherish all the time we have with his Grandpa as he has cancer that has noticably taken it's toll in the last year and we aren't sure how much longer he may have with us.  And later after we got home we fed my dad supper on his way home from the lake.
