Baby on the Brain

Allison has had babies on her mind lately.  Good friends of ours recently had a baby and a friend at daycare has a new baby at her house.  So the other day, Allison looks at me and asks, "Mom, do you have my baby brother in your tummy?"  Me, "Umm, no Allison, does it look like I do??"  "No, but Grandma says you are going to."  Not sure which Grandma I have to thank for that!  :)

Easter Egg Fun

We had round 1 of dying Easter Eggs a couple weeks ago at Grandma and Grandpa Mages's house.  Both girls had fun!  Played a game of Candy Land with Allison after we were done dying Easter Eggs.  We were celebrating Bruce and Nancy's 35th Wedding Anniversary!  Congratulations Mom and Dad Mages!!  I should have gotten a pic of the happy couple!!  Here's a couple of dying eggs...

Snow Fun

A month or so ago (when it was still OK to have snow!!) we went to Sibley with the girls.  Met Grandma Nancy and the Zupke cousins there.  Allison loved it.  She was very brave, which surprised me - she can be my more timid girl, and loved to go fast!!  Kara went a couple times but then really didn't want to go down anymore, but loved just being outside and was content to sit with Grandma and watch. 

We LoVe CherryBerry

Last spring I had CherryBerry for the first time on my birthday in St. Cloud.  I had heard Willmar was getting one, but then all summer nothing really seemed to come of it.  Then in November (I think, don't remember for sure, but it was cold already) there was the beginnings of a CherryBerry with it's pink and green coloring starting behind Grizzly's or Cub here in Willmar.  We all love CherryBerry.  It is a guilty pleasure you don't have to feel so guilty about because it is low fat frozen yogurt!  YUM!  My personal Abolute FAVORITE flavor (that better not EVER go away) is Sea Salt Caramel Pretzel.  Allison goes for the fruity flavors and Kara eats whatever we give her!

My Big Baby

Miss Kara has been getting into the old baby bouncy seat and swing lately!!  Allison plays with them with her dolls but the other day I found Kara in the swing and a couple weeks before that she was in the bouncy seat!!  Crazy girl!  She might be small for 21 months, but she is big for the baby seats!

Ice Fishing Fun

This summer Jesse and a couple friends bought a stationary ice house from another friend.  So this winter has been filled with lots of ice fishing.  (Or as much as he can get away with.)  Allison has had the opportunity to go out with daddy a couple times and she thoroughly enjoyed it.  One thing she (and dad) didn't enjoy was the lack of a bathroom and a little girl who insisted on going to town for a bathroom!!  (Jesse tried to get her to pee outside!  She wouldn't do it, lol!)  Both Kara and Allison enjoyed looking at the fish daddy caught and we all enjoyed eating fresh fish a couple times!  Now the season is over and we are looking forward to summer fishing!
