Mudman race 2012

Jesse and some friends did the mudman run at Powder Ridge in Kimball a week and a half ago.  I was just a spectator this year, but thinking I might have to participate next year!  Looks fun...and muddy!  See next post for slideshow of this...

So, the first time I tried to post the slideshow it didn't work.  Post just below worked (as you can see).  But I just wanted to tell people, once you click on it, you don't have to click that download button, just wait and it should come up (bar in middle should be moving).  Hoping it works!  This took me a long time!!!  First time I did it I used one I had to pay for, AAAHHHH!!!  So I had to redo the whole thing on one of the "free" options!

Nice Day...For a White Wedding!

My brother got married to his girlfriend of 2 (?) years, KerryAnn Peterson almost 3 weeks ago now.  On Friday, August 10.  It was probably the most gorgeous day of the summer.  (In more ways than one!  :)  But thank goodness since the wedding itself was outside!  Here's some pics from the big day, there are a lot, so I did a slideshow, hopefully this works!!

Looks like it worked!  Anyway, more posts to come.  Hopefully tomorrow!  In the mean time, I should get to bed!  Taking the girls to the pool tomorrow for one last pool day!  So hopefully I will have pics from my brother and KerryAnn's wedding, mudman run, some random's and a few from our last pool day of the summer!  Thanks for continuing to follow even when I am quite sporadic in my posts!  Oh, the joys of working basically full time and having young children!

Pool Party!

Last week a few co-workers and I got together at her house...she has a pool, it was the obvious choice!  One of the reasons we got together was to see Kala's twins!  She had them in April and we still hadn't gotten to see the sweet girls!!  And oh, are they ever sweet!!  I unfortunately was just recovering from a horrendous summer cold, so I refrained from holding them...because it is almost impossible to hold those sweet babies without smelling and kissing on their sweet heads!  And the other reason we got together (as if we need one) is well...we had been bugging Katie (pool owner) to have us over for a swim.  Originally we thought it would be fun for adults only, but decided the kids would have fun and to have kind of a play date since we all have similar age kids.  It went wonderfully considering how many YOUNG kids there were!!  Even managed to get a couple pics!

Last Hurrah as a Single Gal!

Last weekend we had the bachelorette party for my brother's fiance, KerryAnn.  It was a blast!!  I think she had a good time...she survived the night...barely!  :)  There was lots of laughs, yummy food, and of course, JELLO SHOTS!

A chair for Anyone...Anywhere!

For Allison's first birthday we got her an "Anywhere Chair" from PB Kids.  She LoVeD it!  So, I wanted to get Kara one, but hadn't gotten around to it and was waiting for them to go on sale.  Wellll, I FINALLY got around to getting Kara one.  And it is so cute how much she LoVeS it!  And Allie has brought hers back upstairs to play with now too.  They have had so much fun with them!
