4th of July
Jesse and I (and a few more friends) took the pontoon to Lone Tree on Green Lake, as has been our tradition for the past 5 years or so. It was a lot of fun, but I realized something that made me feel a little old. I missed my daughter. As much fun as it was and we were very thankful to have my parent's willing to babysit, I found myself wishing I were spending the day with her. So...I am realizing that we may be coming up with new traditions now. It took going there one more time to realize that. And I am sure we will be back as soon as our kids are old enough to go along! In the mean time, I think next year we may be doing something different next year, and that is ok! This is Jesse's brother and his fiance, Katie, with us! Fun times!!
Aquatic Center
I took Allison to the Dorothy Olson Aquatic Center in Willmar July 1. It is free for kids under 2 and on Thursdays in July only $1 with a food shelf donation for everyone else. So we decided to try it. She had so much fun. It is a zero depth entry, so she could crawl around the edge. I had to turn her around a couple times before she crawled too deep! She is pretty brave and doesn't mind getting her face wet! I am hoping we can get there 1 more Thur. in July!
Pool Video
This is just a short little video of Allison playing in her pool. Of course by the time I got the camera out she stopped splashing as much as she had been. She was really going to town. She does that so much in her bath now that you are pretty much soaked when you are done. She loves it!
Visiting Grandma
Allison absolutely LOVES her grandma's (and her grandpa's too) and gets so excited to see them! We are so lucky to have them both close by and always willing to watch Allison and help us out! This picture is from a family reunion at my parent's house. It is nearly impossible to get everyone to look at the camera at once with 2 babies! This is Allison, Grandma Linda, and her cousin, Emma.

9 Months!
Allison is 9 months old already!! I can't beleive it! (I probably say that every time, but it is TRUE!) She is crawling, babbling more and more. She says mama and dada, and even in correct reference. She had her 9 month Dr. appt. last Monday, went very good! She was 19lbs 4oz and 27 inches long. Doing GREAT! No shots, so that was good! Then Monday afternoon we had her 9 month pics taken! Here is the link to see them, hopefully this works!
